Bee & Butterfly Water Stations
These hand-forged bee water cups are great for keeping the wildlife hydrated in your garden. And they make lovely decorations for flower beds and plant pots, adding height and structure.
The set of three has three stems, each 47cm tall, with cups (4/5cm) in orange, blue, and yellow.
The set of six has six stems 47cm tall and cups 4/5 cm in orange, Blue, Yellow, Purple, pink, and Mouve.
The set of Nine has nine individual stems 47cm tall, with each cup is 4/5cm in warm orange, lemon yellow, light yellow, dark orange, blue, purple, mauve, and pink.
They can be installed easily by pushing them into the ground to the desired height and form.
Tessa creates each garden sculpture by hand from her workshop in Wales. Tessa works in steel, and the Butterfly and Bee Cups are hand-painted with a sealed rust patina exterior.
All packaging is recyclable and uses cardboard and paper only.

Tessa Hayward
Tessa has been making natural material Sculptures, to commission for the past 20 years. Her clients include The Royal Historic Palaces, National Trust, Wildlife Service Ireland, and Natural Resources Wales.
Using this experience In 2023 Tessa decided to set up Haywards Garden. She now runs a workshop making beautiful and practical pieces that are designed to support wildlife and bring colour, structure and interest to your garden.
Tessa still takes on a limited number of commissions for natural-material and steel sculpture. Each commission is developed around the client, the space and the story behind the piece.

The best size depends on where you want to use your water station and the amount of space available.
Smaller bee water stations have cups around 4–5cm wide with individual stems around 45cm tall. They work well near the house, in pots and planters, window boxes, balconies and smaller gardens.
Larger wildlife water bowls have wider cups and taller stems, making them more of a feature in a larger flower border or wildlife garden.
Many HaywardsGarden water stations have individual stems, so you can arrange the cups yourself rather than having everything at one fixed height. Group them together to create a feature, or spread them through a flower bed to provide several small drinking places for pollinators.

Yes. HaywardsGarden sculptures can be sent as a ready-to-give gift, with gift wrapping available at checkout.
Tessa wraps gifts using recyclable Kraft honeycomb paper and Fern Leaf Kraft wrapping paper, with a handwritten gift tag. You can also add a personalised message to the order, which can be included with the gift.
The sculptures are carefully packaged using paper and cardboard rather than plastic, so the gift arrives beautifully presented while keeping the packaging recyclable.

Tessa takes on a limited number of bespoke sculpture commissions alongside creating the HaywardsGarden range.
She continues to create sculptures using natural materials, as well as steel, drawing on her many years of experience as a sculptor.
Tessa can discuss your ideas, the size and location of the sculpture, materials, colours and finish before creating the piece. Because only a limited number of commissions are taken on, it is best to get in touch early to discuss your project.
